The MVI56-FLN module acts as a gateway between the FL-net network and the Allen-Bradley backplane. The data transfer from the ControlLogix processor is asynchronous from the actions on the FL-net network. The module's internal database can be used to exchangeup to 512 words of Area 1 cyclic data, and 8192 words of Area 2 cyclic data between the processor and the FL-net network.
