Siemens SEABus Master Communications Interface Module
3100-SEA
The ProSoft Siemens SEABus Plus Master Module allows the user to easily configure one or both ports to collect data from Siemens 4300, 4700 and Static Trip III devices. The 3100-SEA (PLC) modules is a single slot solution for the A-B 1771 platforms. By providing configurable access to both ports, this product is able to communicate directly with multiple Siemens Power Meter devices.
Features
Simple to Use
All module setup and operating control is performed over the backplane through simple ladder logic and data table configuration. The only software necessary is a standard ladder-programming package.
Hands Off Operation
Once the SEA module has been setup for operation, the card provides transparent control and monitoring capabilities. The SEA module, integrated directly into the PLC/SLC rack, forms a tightly integrated and practical solution. Once configured, the module will perform all protocol related functions on a stand-alone basis.
Installation, Set Up and Operation
The ProSoft module installs in any slot in a local or a remote rack. The product's capabilities are enabled and controlled with simple ladder logic and data table initialization.
