With in-rack modules, PWP now brings even more flexibility to Automation Engineers. PWP (ProSoft Wireless Protocol) is used to transfer process data over the air in a fast and secure way. PWP now goes from the ProLinx 6000 series of wireless gateways to the ProTalk and inRAx in-chassis modules. Schneider Electric Quantum and/or Rockwell Automation ControlLogix users can now think differently about their complete networking architectures; they share process data and network status between various field devices involving different networks or protocols in one single architecture.

With ProSoft Technology, PROFIBUS goes wireless with the ProLinx 6000 series of wireless gateways. Our unique solution brings transparent high-speed wireless connectivity to PROFIBUS applications (up to 1.5 Mbits/s on the cable – supported by over 5 to 6 Mbits/s in the air) and provides flexibility to Automation Engineers for designing their networking architectures. With ProSoft Technology, PROFIBUS is also a family of unequalled Master (PDPMV1) and Slave (PDPS) drivers for ProTalk modules and/or inRAx modules (Schneider Electric Quantum and/or Rockwell Automation ControlLogix).
